Mixing up the friendship and Audio Bullies

Oh yes, another indie band gig in Camden, KOKO for me again. Who ever would have guessed that..?
It was diffeent then most nights though. I had no idea who were playing, or who was going All I was told by a certain Ms Bigot, that I was invited to come join her and her mates in Camden.
Curiosity pipedup, I made my way down there.
Who were these "friends"..?
A bunch of lovely females it seems, who shared my love of mini adventures and music.
There was Anna, Zero and Markio. There was another though I am useless with names and forgot it..Edta I think it was..

We had a few drinks and then headed to Koko. The band was called Audio Bullies and I discovered to my dismay, I did not like them very much. AT ALL!

I didn't pay to get in though, which was one good thing, and there was a DJ before hand playing random songs. That eased the pain.Along with Dancing..

That and nicking a guy's orange Flower Neckless, which everyone posed with..

Me and Claude got seperated from the main group after a few hours, so after trying to find them and failing, we knocked back a few drinks and dancing with eachother, we headed out drunk and happy about 2ish. C'est la Vie :P

Rise up for the festival now

The rise festival. A place where people can lay aside their differences and all come together against racism..At least that was the orignal idea of the festival. Instead thanks to Mr Johnson the mayor, it turned into a political minefield. He said there is no such thing as racism.
Of course there isn't! We were just having big joke with the name calling and bullying were'nt we?..
Anyway besides from the fact others were using it to fuel their hate, it was a good day.. I met up with Claude and John in Finsbury Park and just chilled in the grass listening to various artists. Cannot remember most of them..The Aliens and CSS were fun to listen to. There were 6 different stages too, so a wide range of things. :P There was also a reaction tester which was cool. It had 10 buttons that flashed one by one. You pressed them as fast as you can in 30 seconds. I got 33, Claude 29 .John 39! I was impressed! Claude was hung over so did not say much as was John (Proof Alochol was bad for you) though we did send him on the way for more Beer! We got approched my Hare Christians and gave them money, So to evan it out John decided to argue with the Green Peace Activists saying "So why are you so right then?!". I had to walk away.
Forgot to mention there was a funfair as well, and lots of food stalls there. Tasty. It was heavenly!

Claude left us early, so we soon left for Chelsea..I had a bet whether I could bet him on the tube to mine, on his motorbike. He won. I felt well upset. Damn it all.

The itunes Festival in KOKO

I have found out I got another addiction to go with the ones I have alreay. It is called "Entering Competitions. Relatively heartbreaking though as my enthusium is not met with wins. This time however I managed to win some tickets for the Itunes festival..And invited Claude to watch it with me.. The bands were pretty good actually and I enjoyed it as the music entered into my hear. The script and Sam Beeton. Sam was better in my eyes..

You never get tired of telling me
How I don’t understand you
When the problem is
You know I think I do
I was just tryin’ to name that face
So familiar, yet so out of place
What's he want with you
Oh god it’s like I said
Still give up damn, if you think I can be what you want
It’s Just a little late to stop

(Chorus)
Now I know what you look for
I’ts too late for me
And I know what you look for
And he doesn’t look a thing like me
I guess what I’m good for
Is laughing at,
Stop laughing at me

The last 3 minutes of an era
Are passing by without a sound
You just shook it off
I was prepared for every change
But your stupid face is on my mind again
I can’t say enough.
Really wanna put you off

(Chorus)
Now I know what you look for
It’s too late for me
And I know what you look for
And he doesn’t look a thing like me
I guess what I’m good for
Is laughing at…
Stop laughing at me

If you can afford to take what you want
Don’t look down…

No one here saw anything
You just slipped the knife in between
Breathing in and out
Casual isn’t it,
Vicious little look is all it takes
To brake the bank
Very worst way to go

(Chorus)
Now I know what you look for
It’s too late for me
And I know what you look for
And he doesn’t look a thing like me
I guess what I’m good for
Is laughing at,
Stop laughing at me

And what do you look for?
It’s a crying shame
Now I know you should see yourself
Now you’re hanging out the back door
I guess what were good for is laughing at,
Stop laughing at me…
Hm, anyway, as usual we made the best of the night and stayed until about half 1. There were drinks, gossip and shots to be had, as well as Chiense food and drunken French songs. Best way to spend the middle of the week!

La Rebla Fam fun in Metro.

So my favourite band were playing in my favourite club which set the mood to fun tonight.
Oh yes, I was seeing La Rebla Fam again in the Metro club. And to make it more exciting for me, Claude was coming to.

Hmm, It was a fun evening, even though I arrived to late to hear the others bands play. It was a pity as they seemed Smexy in their own way.
La Rebla Fam had a strong opening, and cheers of "Viva, Viva" flooded out the last song. I thought there was to be a mini riot when the Orgainisers refused to listen to the croud for one more song. Ekk! Not finished with the night, when the band left, me and Claude danced the night away in Metro. We did move to Pepe though, and then back to metro. The point is, is that we had fun. Girlie fun. Innocent fun. Who would have thought..?...

A slap in the face..for the french pair

As I was feeling in a loving mood, I decided to spend my Saturday helping Claude pack up to move into her new place in Walthamstow.
At least that was the plan..
Still half drunk from Tom's I got up there about 2pm to pack. Claude and Guillance had already left to get the keys, so I was home alone with only the builders who were making an extention to the kitchen for company.
I had just finished when I rang Cluade to see what she wanted me to do next (i.e Order a van) when she said that the rom had been over booked..There was a girl that was there for a week in the flat that they were supposed to move into today. Strong words were passed between the landlord and them, before they got there money back (A month in advance and a months money for safekeeping) and stormed back to Turnpike lane.
I bet you can only imagine the angry faces!
We did try to make the best of a bad situation. Wine was opened. There was a lot of catching up done, and stories of a weird nature were shared.
Oh my, well..Watch this space..Next month I hope the moving out is real!

Ohh, and Claude has the cutest Black cat. I am jealous. Truly I am!

Oh and as for the top pix..it is related to the fact we were curious if you could change the way you aste. Apperantly you can. Go figure!

Clubbing with a crazy French Girl

Phew, so this past few days has been non stop adventures in the west End. The story starts watching the best band "La Rebla Fam" with a crazy french woman called Claude and a sick humoured guy called John. I say sick homoured due to the fact that as I accidentally let slip that one of the drummers was cute (Okie, he was like a God the way he looked.) John walked up and said quite clearly..
"Sorry mate, Just thought I should tell you this. My girlfriend over there thinks you are hot. Sorry to bother you.!"
I was more then a little embarrassed by this as you could guess! Hmm, the rest of the night was spent tolling round the clubs with Claude. It seems we had itchy feet and went to 3 clubs. Then the next night 2 more.. It seems to me that Metro is still the best club to pull and to dance to. However it seems that it is a small world as Claude saw a guy she knew there. Fun times. And oh my, I got beaten up by her at the end of the right with a rolled up We are Scientists Poster. Told you she was crazy!
In other news I went to see Amora the funky looking sex exhibition in the West end.
All I could say was it was not as Kinky as one would expect. Learnt a few tricks though ;p Pizza hut called to me to eat there, so me and Shane went there. Partly to escape the rain. Partly as we were to hungry to look else where.. Ah well, Hot food is gooood ..;p
